Frequently Asked Question about Senior Portraits 


How do we book a session?

Its easy! Just email me, call me 814-673-8927, or message me on Facebook or click here!

Do we get the digital images?

YES! They are included with your session fee! You will get a unique PIN# to allow you download all your images directly from your online gallery.

Can you fix blemishes?

Yes, on the photo chosen for the yearbook and the ones for print will be retouched and blemishes removed. All the other images you receive will be professionly edited as well.  (Color correction, sharpening, contrast, etc.)  

What should we wear?

For senior pictures, I like to get a mix of formal, and casual.  But it is your style that is important.  I want you to feel comfortable in the photo.  I do recommend bringing a variety of clothes and accessories as well, just for options!

Where do I change???

Some locations don't offer anywhere to change, and getting changed in your car can be rather difficult!  So I bring a pop up changing room to make things much easier and for some privacy as well! 

Do you have an assistant?

I sure do! She is very important to the process. She handles the lenses and lighting.  So if she can't make it, a friend (or parent) is very helpful to have with you!! 

Do you have a studio?

At this moment no, BUT a new studio is in the works! As for now, I shoot most all of my senior portraits outdoors. 

Where do you shoot your outdoor Portraits?

I shoot all over!  It depends on what you are looking for as well, We can go downtown, or out to the country, or even both (if time permits).   I have a bunch of “go to” places, but to try and keep everyones photos unique, I ask every client if they have a special place in mind, if they have property they have access to.  

Do you bring Props?

NOPE. I am not a huge fan of props, but that doesn't mean you can't! If you have something you want in the photo, please bring it!  I have seen quads, horses, dogs, rabbits, hockey gear, baseball stuff, football gear.. If its you, bring it! :)

What happens if it rains?

If it is raining on the day of our session, we will possibly have to reschedule..  but if there is enough time for things to dry up, then we probably will go for it! 

How long do you shoot for?

A typical Senior Session is around 1.5 to 3 hours.   

How do I see all my photos?

You will receive an email with a link and password to your online gallery.  You can download them, and share them from there! 

How do we get Prints?

Prints are included with the session fee!  Once you have seen all your photos, I send you a link to fill out the order form, it is pretty easy.. :) You just put in the picture # by the print size. Once you submit back to me, professional prints are sent straight to your house!

You can also order additional prints straight from your gallery!

How long does it take until we see our pictures?

It really varies depending on the time of year.  The average wait time is around 7 to 10 days for the gallery to be up. In the fall, possibly a little longer.  But, 99% of the time, you will get one or two sneak peeks on social media before. 

Do you travel?

Yes!  Anything over 15 miles from the Oil City area is $1.25 per mile. 

Can I bring a friend?

I encourage it! It helps to have a friend for sure.  Plus, I might have them help hold a reflector or a lens bag if my assistant can't make it! :)

How do we pay you? 

The session fee can be paid prior, or day of.  If you prefer to pay with a credit card, just let me know in advance and I can email you an invoice.  Cash or check is accepted on the day of the shoot.
